COVID-19 SALON UPDATES

(Last Updated: 1st September 2021)

So what's happening now?

As you will all be aware by now, the government has given the go ahead for Covid-19 rules to be relaxed.

As a responsible salon, I will always put the health and safety first, therefore, for the time being I have taken the decision to continue to wear masks during treatments, I am not enforcing my clients to wear masks, but I would ask that you consider the safety of myself and clients when making your choice.

I will still be asking that you do not attend your appointment if you are feeling unwell, showing signs of Covid-19 or have been in contact with someone that has tested positive, this is regardless of you being double vaccinated. Please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule you appointment.

Please be aware that if you have had Covid-19 at all or received one of your vaccination within 4 weeks of your appointment you may suffer an adverse reactions to certain treatments, I am asking clients to be re-patch tested. Please call discuss if you have any concern.

As always, hygiene and cleanliness will continue to be second to none and I will continue to thoroughly clean and sterilise between treatments.  Hand gel will continue to be available by the front door and throughout the salon for you to use.

Back in July I was inspected by the Salon Standard Agency and was awarded 5 Stars (Outstanding) for Salon Hygiene.

This award can be seen proudly displayed on my front door.

COVID-19 NHS Test and Trace

I will use the information on my booking system Ovatu to record your name, telephone number and the approximate time you entered and exited Pamper Room, as required by the governments COVID-19 Test & Trace.

This information will only be shared with NHS Test & Trace should a client inform me that they have tested positive for COVID-19 and if you are considered at risk.

I will no longer be sending out the Covid-19 Test & Trace Question Form as I believe all clients know the precautions to take.

NHS Test and Trace QR Code

As required by law, Pamper Room has on display an NHS Test and Trace QR Code, this can be found on the reception desk.

Pamper Room does not have access to any of the data collected by this QR code, if you should wish to read more about how it works etc, please visit https://www.gov.uk/guidance/nhs-test-and-trace-how-it-works
