COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) - SALON UPDATES     (Updated: 14th August 2020)



However there are a few changes that you need to be aware of, you can watch my video below right or read the following…


Firstly, Angela is the only member of staff working at Pamper Room for the foreseeable future, please bare this in mind when booking for an appointment. Booking in advance is required


I would prefer that clients use the online booking site, this will help reduce calls and texting meaning that I will be able to dedicate time to my clients in the salon actually having treatments. However, If you have any questions please email, call 0116 260 2000 and leave a voice message or text 07712 607 936, I will get back to you as soon as I can during my opening hours.  


I am currently closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. I plan on re-opening Tuesday from September 2020


I shall be wearing full PPE, this includes a face mask, visor and apron. I have has Perspex screen build and put in place to allow extra protection and I am also allowing an extra 15 minutes cleaning/preparation time between clients (unfortunately this also means daily appointments are limited)


Sadly I am currently having to charge clients a £2 COVID-19 surcharge for each appointment, this is to cover extra costs the business has and continues to incur, and this will only be temporary.


I am asking clients to not attend any appointment if they are showing symptoms of COVID-19, please contact me as soon as you can to re-schedule. You may be required to wait 14 days.


Clients are required to wear a face covering when entering Pamper Room and during the following treatments:

Body/Intimate Waxing, Massage (when laying face up), Pedicures, Brow or lash treatments, Spray tanning (face will be spray last), Body exfoliating (when laying face up), Crystal healing/Chakra balancing.


Should you wish, you may remove your mask when having the following treatments as screen are in place, because we are not facing each other or because I am carrying a treatment out on the face area.

Massage (when laying face down), Manicures or Nail treatments (screen between), Body exfoliating (when laying face down), Facials or Facial hair removal (excluding brows)


If you are medically exempt from wearing a mask please indicate when you book your appointment.


Please observe social distancing when you are waiting outside the salon and when inside.


Payments by card are preferred however I am operating a clean/dirty till so cash payments can be made if you prefer.


Clients are asked to sanitise their hands on entering the salon.


Please come to your appointments alone, if you need to bring a career then please advise at the time of booking. If using the online booking site you can add this to the note section.

COVID-19 NHS Test and Trace


I will use the information on my booking system Ovatu to record your name, telephone number and the approximate time you entered and exited Pamper Room, as required by the governments COVID-19 Test & Trace.

This information will only be shared with NHS Test & Trace should a client inform me that they have tested positive for COVID-19 and if you are considered at risk.

As required by law, Pamper Room has on display an NHS Test and Trace QR Code, this can be found on the reception desk.

Pamper Room does not have access to any of the data collected by this QR code, if you should wish to read more about how it works etc, please visit 

Gift Certificates

Please note that I have extended all gift certificates by 5 months so that they can be used once this terriable situation has passed.

If you have a gift certificate, please have a look at getting your treatment booked in for when we return, you'll probably need a little pampering after all this is over!
