Lash Lift & Curl Preparation and Aftercare Advice:

Prior to your treatment:

  • If you have never had a lash lift & curl treatment with Pamper Room before or if it is over 6 months since your last treatment or test, you must have a patch test done at least 48 hours prior to the treatment. A patch test will be done to be sure that you do not have an adverse reaction to the products I use. I will place a small amount of each product behind your ear.

Things to look out for: If you experience redness, swelling, irritation, itching or burning, blotchiness, feeling hot or any kind of discomfort, this could mean you are having an allergic reaction to the products I have used. Please wash the area with cold water. If irritation persists consults a medical professional and please contact me.

  • You will be emailed an electronic consultation at the point of booking your appointment, this will help me assess your needs and to check for any contra-indications. Please complete this form and return it back to me. If you do not receive one, please contact me.

Just before your treatment:

  • Please arrive to your appointment with no eye make-up on.
  • I shall ask about your patch test result, please be honest about any reaction.

After Care:

The great thing about a Lash Lift & Curl is that it is a very low maintenance procedure however, there is a little extra care required over the first 24-48hrs.

  • Be gentle with your lashes; no rubbing.
  • Do not get your lashes wet for the first 24 hrs.
  • Do not use harsh products on your eyes/lashes.
  • Use of Sauna/Steam is possible after 24hrs but may weaken the effect of the lift.
  • No eye makeup for 24 hours.
  • Avoid waterproof mascaras.
  • Swimming should be avoided for at least 24hrs.
  • No other facial beauty treatments for 24hrs.

Lash & Brow Tint Aftercare

  • Do not touch or rub your eyes, eyelashes, or eyebrows immediately after the treatment.
  • If redness or irritation occurs apply a cool damp cotton compress to the eye area.
  • If symptoms persist for more than 24 hours seek medical advice
  • For the first two hours please avoid any water contact on the lashes or brows
  • Do not sleep on your face.

Please note, although I carry out patch testing you may still experience an allergic reaction when having the treatment in full. If this happens, please wash the area with cold water. If irritation persists consults a medical professional and please contact me.
