That's why my Eve Taylor Prescriptive Facials at Pamper Room in Syston, Leicester aren't based on you having to decide for yourself whether your skin is dry, oily, sensitive or dehydrated.
Your treatment begins with a consultation and professional Skin Profiling Analysis. I'll assess how your skin presents on the day, discuss any concerns you have and select the appropriate Eve Taylor products and treatment approach for your individual skin.

What Is an Eve Taylor Prescriptive Facial?
A Prescriptive Facial is a personalised facial treatment based on what your skin actually needs at the time of your appointment.
Before your treatment begins, we'll discuss your skin, current skincare routine, lifestyle and any particular concerns or goals you have.
I'll then carry out an Eve Taylor Skin Profiling Analysis, assessing factors including your skin type and condition, hydration and sensitivity.
The products and techniques used during your facial are then selected accordingly.
This means two clients booking exactly the same Prescriptive Facial may receive different Eve Taylor products, because their skin has different requirements.
And if you're a regular client, the products selected for you may change from one appointment to the next as your skin changes.
Which Prescriptive Facial Should I Choose?
You don't need to choose your facial according to your skin type – that's my job!
All three Prescriptive Facials can be adapted to different skin types and conditions.
Instead, think about how comprehensive you'd like your facial experience to be.
Mini Prescriptive Facial – 30 minutes
Choose the Mini if you'd like a shorter professional facial or you're trying an Eve Taylor facial for the first time.
Essential Prescriptive Facial – 60 minutes
Choose the Essential if you'd like a more comprehensive facial with additional treatment stages and massage, giving you time to relax as well as have your skin professionally treated.
Intensive Prescriptive Facial – 70 minutes
Choose the Intensive if you want my most comprehensive Prescriptive Facial, with additional professional formulations and more targeted treatment stages.

Mini Prescriptive Facial

Don't let the word Mini fool you – this is still a professionally prescribed Eve Taylor facial.
Your treatment begins with cleansing followed by a Skin Profiling Analysis, allowing me to assess your skin and select suitable products.

Essential Prescriptive Facial

The Essential Prescriptive Facial takes personalised skincare further while adding aromatherapy, massage and additional treatment time.
As with the Mini, your skin is professionally assessed and the Eve Taylor products used are selected according to how your skin presents on the day.

The additional treatment time allows me to incorporate a wider selection of professional products and techniques, selected according to your individual skin.

What Is Skin Profiling Analysis?
Skin Profiling Analysis allows me to take a closer look at how your skin is presenting at the time of your appointment.
Rather than choosing products based purely on a general label such as dry, oily or sensitive, I'll consider your skin type and current condition alongside factors such as hydration, sensitivity and your individual concerns.
I'll also discuss your existing skincare routine and relevant lifestyle factors with you.
This information helps me select the Eve Taylor products and treatment approach most appropriate for your skin.
Do I Need to Know My Skin Type Before Booking?
No.
In fact, one of the advantages of choosing a Prescriptive Facial is that you don't need to diagnose your own skin.
Book the level of facial you'd like – Mini, Essential or Intensive – and I'll assess your skin during your appointment.
Your treatment will then be prescribed accordingly.
What If I Have Sensitive Skin?
Your skin's sensitivity is one of the factors considered during your consultation and Skin Profiling Analysis.
Eve Taylor has different professional skincare formulations available, allowing me to select products appropriate for how your skin presents.
If you know you're sensitive to particular ingredients, essential oils or skincare products, please tell me during your consultation.
Will I Have Steam and Extractions?
Steam and extractions can be incorporated into the Essential and Intensive Prescriptive Facials where appropriate.
Not everybody needs extractions, and they won't automatically be carried out simply because you've booked a longer facial.
I'll assess your skin and determine whether they're appropriate for you.
The 30-minute Mini Prescriptive Facial doesn't include this stage.
Do All Prescriptive Facials Include Massage?
No, and this is one of the important differences between the three treatments.
The Mini Prescriptive Facial concentrates on professional skincare within its 30-minute treatment time and doesn't include facial massage.
The Essential Prescriptive Facial includes massage of the face, neck and décolleté, with a hand and arm massage possible while your masque is working.
The Intensive Prescriptive Facial incorporates Eve Taylor Drainage Massage, together with massage to the décolleté, neck and shoulders. Additional massage can also be incorporated while the speciality masque is working.
If the relaxation and massage element is particularly important to you, I'd recommend choosing Essential or Intensive rather than Mini.
How Should I Prepare for My Facial?
There's very little you need to do before an Eve Taylor Prescriptive Facial.
Where possible:
- Let me know about any allergies, sensitivities or relevant medical conditions
- Tell me about prescription or active skincare products you're currently using
- Let me know about any recent facial treatments, peels or other skin procedures
- Avoid deliberately exfoliating or irritating your skin immediately before your appointment
- Complete any consultation information requested before your treatment
You don't need to arrive completely make-up free – eye, lip and facial cleansing forms part of the treatment – although arriving without heavy make-up allows more of your appointment time to be spent treating your skin.
Prescriptive Facial Aftercare
Your aftercare will depend partly on your skin and the products and techniques used during your individual treatment.
As a general guide:
- Treat your skin gently following your facial
- Avoid unnecessary touching or rubbing
- Follow the personalised skincare advice given after your treatment
- Keep your skin appropriately moisturised
- Use suitable daily sun protection
- Avoid immediately introducing several unfamiliar active skincare products at once
- Follow any specific advice I give you if exfoliation or extractions have formed part of your facial
At the end of your treatment, I'll discuss appropriate Eve Taylor homecare recommendations where relevant.

What's the Difference Between Mini, Essential and Intensive?
All three treatments are Prescriptive Facials, meaning the products are selected according to your skin.
The main difference is the treatment time and how comprehensive the facial is.
Mini is a focused 30-minute professional facial.
Essential provides 60 minutes, adding massage and allowing steam and extractions where appropriate.
Intensive provides my most comprehensive experience, with additional professional formulations, intensive exfoliation, targeted serums, speciality masques and Eve Taylor Drainage Massage.
Is the Mini Facial Only for Younger Skin?
No.
The Mini Prescriptive Facial can be adapted to different skin types and conditions.
Mini describes the treatment length rather than the age of the client or type of skin it's designed for.
Can I Have a Facial If I Have Spots or Congestion?
Potentially, yes.
Prescriptive Facials can be adapted according to how your skin presents, including where oiliness or congestion is a concern.
The Essential and Intensive treatments also allow for steam and extractions where appropriate.
For more specific skin concerns, however, one of my dedicated Eve Taylor Skin Concern Facials may sometimes be a better choice.
How Often Should I Have a Facial?
There's no single schedule that's appropriate for everybody.
How often you choose to have a professional facial will depend on your skin, concerns, homecare, budget and what you'd like to achieve from your treatments.
I'll be happy to discuss an appropriate treatment routine with you rather than automatically putting you onto a fixed programme.
Will You Recommend Products for Me?
Yes.

There's no obligation to purchase products, but I can explain which Eve Taylor products would be appropriate if you'd like to continue supporting your skin at home.
What If I Don't Know Which Facial to Book?
That's absolutely fine.
