Lash Lift in Syston, Leicester
Lift, curl and enhance your natural lashes.
Love the look of beautifully lifted lashes but don't want eyelash extensions?
A Lash Lift at Pamper Room in Syston, Leicester enhances your own natural lashes by lifting and curling them from the root, helping them appear longer, more defined and more open without adding extensions.
I use the professional Brow Bomb Lash Lift system, with your treatment tailored to your natural lashes and the result you'd like to achieve.
Choose a Lash Lift on its own or add a lash tint for additional definition – particularly lovely if your natural lashes are lighter towards the ends.
The results can last for several weeks as your natural lashes gradually move through their normal growth cycle.

What Is a Lash Lift?
A Lash Lift is a professional treatment designed to lift and curl your natural eyelashes, creating the appearance of longer and more defined lashes.
Your natural lashes are carefully positioned onto a specially selected shield before professional lifting products are applied in stages to reshape the lashes.
Rather than adding anything to your natural lashes, as with eyelash extensions, a Lash Lift works entirely with the lashes you already have.
The result is beautifully lifted lashes that can make the eyes appear more open and give your natural lashes greater visibility from root to tip.
Lash Lift with Tint
Adding a lash tint can make your Lash Lift look even more defined.
Many people's natural eyelashes become lighter towards the tips, making the full length of the lash less noticeable.
Tinting darkens the natural lashes, while the Lash Lift raises and curls them, helping to create the appearance of longer, darker and more noticeable lashes.
If you like a stronger, mascara-style effect without having extensions applied, a Lash Lift & Tint could be the perfect combination.
Is a Lash Lift Right for Me?
A Lash Lift could be a lovely choice if you:
- Prefer to enhance your natural eyelashes
- Want your lashes to appear longer and more lifted
- Have lashes that naturally grow straight or downwards
- Regularly use an eyelash curler
- Want a lower-maintenance alternative to eyelash extensions
- Don't want to commit to regular lash-extension infills
- Want beautifully lifted lashes for a holiday or special occasion
- Like a natural but noticeable lash enhancement
Your results will depend partly on the length, thickness and natural growth direction of your own lashes, and I'll take this into consideration during your treatment.
Lash Lift vs Eyelash Extensions
Both treatments enhance your lashes, but they work in completely different ways.
Lash Lift
Works with your own natural eyelashes by lifting and curling them. Nothing is added to the lashes, and there are no regular infill appointments.
Eyelash Extensions
Individual extensions or lightweight Volume fans are attached to suitable natural lashes to create additional length, fullness and volume. Regular infills are needed to maintain the effect.
If you want to enhance what you naturally have, a Lash Lift may be ideal.
If you'd like additional length, fullness or volume beyond your natural lashes, you may prefer Eyelash Extensions.
What Happens During a Lash Lift?
Before your treatment begins, we'll discuss the result you'd like and I'll assess your natural lashes.
You'll lie comfortably with your eyes closed while the lashes are prepared for treatment.
A suitable silicone shield is positioned along the eyelid and your natural lashes are carefully lifted and arranged onto it.
The professional Brow Bomb Lash Lift products are then applied in stages to help reshape and set your lashes into their new lifted position.
If you've chosen a Lash Lift & Tint, your lashes will also be tinted to add additional colour and definition.
Once the treatment is complete, the products and shields are carefully removed and your newly lifted lashes are revealed.
How Long Does a Lash Lift Last?
A Lash Lift can typically remain visible for around 6–8 weeks, although this varies from person to person.
Your lashes aren't permanently changed. Instead, the lifted lashes gradually shed naturally and are replaced as your eyelashes move through their normal growth cycle.
How long your result remains noticeable will therefore depend on factors including your individual lash-growth cycle and natural lashes.
Will a Lash Lift Make My Lashes Longer?
A Lash Lift doesn't physically increase the length of your eyelashes.
Instead, lifting lashes upwards from the root can reveal more of their natural length, making them appear longer and more noticeable.
If your natural lashes are lighter at the ends, adding a tint can enhance this effect further by making more of the lash visible.
Do I Need a Patch Test?
Yes.
A patch test is required at least 48 hours before your Lash Lift appointment if:
- You haven't previously had the treatment at Pamper Room
- It has been more than 6 months since your last Lash Lift at Pamper Room
- It has been more than 6 months since your relevant patch test
This is a mandatory Pamper Room policy.
If the required patch test hasn't been completed, I will not be able to carry out your treatment.
Although patch testing helps identify potential sensitivity, it cannot guarantee that a reaction will never occur.
If you notice an unexpected reaction following your patch test, please contact me before your treatment.
How Should I Prepare for My Lash Lift?
Please arrive with your eyes and eyelashes clean and free from eye make-up.
Before your appointment:
- Remove mascara, eyeliner and other eye make-up
- Make sure your lashes are clean and free from make-up residue and oils
- Avoid using an eyelash curler immediately before your appointment
- Remove contact lenses if necessary for your comfort
- Tell me about any eye sensitivity, allergies or recent eye treatments
- Complete your required patch test at least 48 hours beforehand
- Complete any consultation information requested before your appointment
If eye make-up needs to be removed when you arrive, this will use some of your allocated treatment time.
Lash Lift Aftercare
Your lashes need a little extra care immediately following your treatment while they settle into their newly lifted shape.
For the first 24 hours, I recommend that you:
- Keep your lashes dry
- Avoid rubbing or touching your eyes unnecessarily
- Avoid mascara and eye make-up
- Avoid swimming
- Avoid steam rooms and saunas
- Avoid excessive steam or heat around the face and lashes
- Avoid sleeping directly on or crushing your lashes where possible
- Gently brush your lashes upwards with a clean lash brush as advised
After the initial aftercare period, you can return to your normal routine and enjoy your lifted natural lashes.
I'll provide you with the appropriate aftercare advice following your appointment.
How Do I Look After My Lash Lift Longer Term?
A Lash Lift is relatively low maintenance compared with eyelash extensions.
Once the initial aftercare period has passed:
- Keep your lashes clean
- Brush them gently into position when needed
- Be gentle when applying and removing eye make-up
- Avoid repeatedly rubbing or pulling at your lashes
- Follow any additional homecare advice given following your treatment
As your natural lashes gradually shed and new lashes grow through, the lifted effect will slowly become less noticeable.
When Might a Lash Lift Not Be Suitable?
There are circumstances where your treatment may need to be postponed or may not be appropriate.
These can include:
- Active eye infections
- Significant irritation or inflammation around the eyes
- Broken or damaged skin around the treatment area
- Certain eye conditions
- Recent eye surgery or procedures
- Known sensitivity or previous reaction to relevant treatment products
- Lashes that are currently particularly fragile or damaged
If you're unsure whether something may affect your treatment, please contact me before booking.
What If I Experience Irritation After My Lash Lift?
Although reactions are uncommon and patch testing is required in accordance with my policy, a patch test cannot guarantee that a reaction will never occur.
If you experience unusual or significant redness, swelling, itching, burning, pain or irritation around the eyes following your Lash Lift, please contact me.
If symptoms are significant, worsening, or you're concerned about your eyes or vision, seek appropriate medical advice.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I Wear Mascara After a Lash Lift?
Yes.
Once you've completed the initial aftercare period, you can wear mascara if you'd like additional definition.
Many clients find that their lashes already look considerably more noticeable following a Lash Lift & Tint and choose to wear less mascara than they did previously.
Can I Have a Lash Lift Without a Tint?
Yes.
A Lash Lift and a lash tint perform different jobs.
The Lift changes the position and curl of your natural lashes, while the tint darkens them.
If your natural lashes are already dark or you simply prefer not to tint them, you can enjoy the lifting effect on its own.
Will a Lash Lift Work on Short Lashes?
Lash Lifts can be performed on a variety of natural lash lengths, but your individual lashes will influence the finished result.
I'll assess your lashes and select an appropriate shield and technique for them.
Is a Lash Lift the Same as a Lash Perm?
They have a similar aim – changing the natural shape of the eyelashes – but modern Lash Lift techniques are designed to create a lifted effect from the root, rather than simply producing a tight curl.
Can I Have a Lash Lift Before a Holiday?
Yes.
A Lash Lift can be particularly convenient for holidays because you're enhancing your own natural lashes rather than maintaining extensions.
If you're new to the treatment at Pamper Room, remember that your patch test must be completed at least 48 hours beforehand.
I'd recommend booking ahead rather than arranging your first treatment immediately before travelling.
How Often Can I Have a Lash Lift?
A Lash Lift should not be repeated too frequently, as the treatment chemically reshapes your natural eyelashes.
Industry guidance is generally to allow around 6–8 weeks between Lash Lift treatments, giving the previously treated lashes time to grow through their natural lash cycle.
At Pamper Room, I allow
8 weeks between Lash Lift treatments. Your natural lashes will also be assessed before repeating the treatment to make sure they are in suitable condition.
Do I Need Eyelash Extension Infills After a Lash Lift?
No.
Nothing is attached to your lashes during a Lash Lift, so there are no extension infill appointments.
The effect gradually grows out as your natural lashes complete their growth and shedding cycle.
